Donate your unwanted items

Times are hard for a lot of people right now, and you may not have the spare cash you once did to donate to good causes.  Fortunately, there is a way we all can help that doesn’t cost a penny.

We are very pleased to support Thames Valley Air Ambulance by providing space for a new donation bank at Shenley Brook End Community Centre.

How does it work?

TVAA’s website explains how they raise money from your donations…

“Donated clothes, shoes and textiles have earned us over £1,000,000 so far, keeping us at the frontline of saving lives.

“We work with our recycling partner to receive a share from the sale of your donated items. Good quality donations that can be reused are sold to second-hand clothing traders, while ‘end of life’ items are recycled into new fibres.”

Bag up your unwanted clothes, shoes and textiles and pop them in the bank to help keep their vital service flying.
