Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee

Join us for a weekend of celebration!

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is nearly here, and we are raising a toast to Her Majesty’s reign!

We are delighted to be hosting two community celebrations in honour of our country’s longest-reigning monarch over the Jubilee weekend.

Join us on Saturday 4th June from 12 noon for an Open Day at Priory Park Pavilion. We will have a showcase of talents from the clubs and groups that regularly use our community halls including dance schools and youth football teams, alongside guests from local charities, a bouncy castle, food vans and of course plenty of tea.

Then on Sunday 5th June we move to Shenley Brook End for our Great British Picnic at Garthwaite Pavilion. Come with your hampers and blankets to enjoy a traditional “picnic on the green”, where we will lay on cakes, teas (naturally), ice cream and burger vans and bouncy castle.

We would like to invite you to bring your own best bakes to add to the offerings on the day – but don’t worry, we won’t be picking a winner!

Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on the events.

We can’t wait to see you there!
