Our Community at Christmas
It was wonderful to see so many families braving the cold to join us for the second annual Parish Council Christmas Fair on Tuesday 2nd December. The evening brought together hundreds of local residents in a festive celebration, and we’re proud to report that it was a resounding success.
Visitors enjoyed a high-spirited tombola in aid of local charity Jo’s Hope, alongside a fundraising stall for our Over-60s Clubs. The atmosphere was enhanced by beautiful carols performed by Milton Keynes Youth Choir, whose voices brought a touch of warmth to the winter air – along with the free hot drinks and mince pies! Children were thrilled to meet MK Dons mascot Mooie, who posed for countless photos and brought plenty of cheer.

People picked up Christmas presents from stalls filled with unique gifts and treats: 3D Make Me showcased incredible 3D-printed creations, while sparkling jewellery, cosy crocheted items and locally produced preserves from the Lions Club proved popular choices. The ever-popular bric-a-brac stall offered hidden treasures, and sweet tooths were well served thanks to Dante’s Homemade Bakes.
But of course, the highlight of the evening was Santa Claus and his trusty elves, handing out more than 100 presents to delighted youngsters!

Parish councillors enjoyed the event as well, helping to direct visitors and taking the opportunity to chat with local residents. A huge “well done” goes to the parish officers and volunteers whose tireless efforts ensured everything ran smoothly.
Finally, we want to give a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make this fair such a success. Your Christmas spirit and generosity to local charities is a welcome reminder of why these community events are so worthwhile.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year for an even bigger and better Christmas Fair!
