This vacancy has now been filled following the November meeting of the Full Parish Council


A vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Emerson Valley South Ward of the Parish Council of Shenley Brook End & Tattenhoe.

We are seeking to co-opt a new Parish Councillor to represent the Parish Ward of Emerson Valley South, at the meeting of the Full Parish Council to be held on Monday 24th November 2025 at 7:15pm.  Please see the notice of co-option and application form below.

*Parish Councillors must: be over 18; be a British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen, a citizen of the Republic of Ireland, a qualifying EU citizen or an EU citizen with retained rights; be either registered to vote within the parish or own or occupy property within the parish for the previous 12 months or have your only or main place of work within the parish for the previous 12 months or have lived within 3 miles of the parish area for the previous 12 months.  Certain disqualifying criteria also apply.  Click for full information (Electoral Commission – opens in new tab).
