A Fantastic Day at the Community Fair!

Saturday 30th August saw our parish come together for a truly fantastic day at the annual Community Fair, and we’re thrilled to report it was a great success!

At Priory Park Pavilion on Tattenhoe Park, we welcomed hundreds of local residents, alongside parish staff, volunteers and councillors, including Mayor of Milton Keynes James Lancaster.

The atmosphere was lively from the start, with Tattenhoe Youth FC’s brilliant preseason football tournament kicking off the day and showcasing some impressive local talent.

Visitors browsed a wide range of stalls run by local independent businesses and charities, offering everything from handmade wooden ornaments to unique jewellery to jams and chutneys.

The stalls selling sweets, home-made desserts, cakes and biscuits were a particular highlight.  Alongside the ever-popular burger and ice cream vans, there was something delicious for everyone to enjoy.

The weather was kind to us for most of the day, adding to the vibrant community spirit, although late afternoon showers meant we wrapped up a little earlier than planned.  Despite that, the amazing turnout and neighbourly atmosphere made it a day to remember.

We’re incredibly proud of how the event came together and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen, from our dedicated volunteers to the stallholders and attendees.  It’s events like these that remind us what a wonderful community we have.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s fair, and in the meantime, watch this space for our Christmas Fair this December.

Thank you all!
