Three consultations under way

Milton Keynes City Council has opened three public consultations into highway safety measures affecting the parish area.  Below are links to the online information and a brief description of each for you to have your say.

1. Double-yellow lines, Shenley Brook End

The installation of yellow lines around the junction of Walbank Grove, Butcher Lane and Welsummer Grove.  Responses to the consultation must be received by the City Council no later than 11th June 2026.

2. 40mph speed limit on H7 Chaffron Way between V2 Tattenhoe Street and V3 Fulmer Street

Other changes to grid road speed limits outside the parish areas are included in the same consultation.  Responses to the consultation must be received by the City Council no later than 11th June 2026.

3. No right turns onto H7 Chaffron Way from Wallinger Drive, Shenley Brook End and Pickering Drive, Emerson Valley

Prohibition of right-turn movements into and out of Wallinger Drive and Pickering Drive; installation of physical traffic islands to enforce the restrictions; refreshing of road markings and upgrading of traffic signs to improve clarity and compliance.  Responses to the consultation must be received by the City Council no later than 3rd July 2026.
