Help us upgrade our parks

Have you been to Cressey Avenue in Shenley Brook End lately?  You’ll find our brand-new climbing frame (pictured below), replacing the old wooden one which had started to decay.  The new frame has quirky angles and bars to encourage children to explore inventive ways of getting up and around.

We were able to secure the funding for Cressey due to your responses to last year’s Play Parks Improvement Survey, with your support meaning that the money we invested was bolstered by an injection of Community Infrastructure Funds (CIF) from Milton Keynes City Council.

CIF money is intended to help make improvements to the local area.  It can be awarded for reasons as broad as laying playing fields, improving public safety or installing a public work of art.  Applications often carry more weight if they come with local support…and that’s where you come in.

For the past two years, your feedback on our Play Parks Improvement Surveys has helped gain funding for parks across the parish, including the new frame at Cressey Avenue.  This year we need your help again as we seek to make our parks even better!  Click the link below to take this year’s 5-minute survey.
