A quick blood test can help diagnose prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer for men in the UK.  1 in 8 men will develop prostate cancer in their lifetimes, and over 10,000 die from it each year.

A PSA test (prostate-specific antigen test) is one of the ways to identify early prostate cancer.  If your PSA level is raised, it may be that further diagnostic examinations are required to find out whether you are at risk.

Milton Keynes Prostate Cancer Support are offering free PSA testing on Sunday 17th November at Windmill Hill Golf Club.  The results will be shared with you confidentially, and you will be advised of further steps if your PSA levels are high.

Further steps after a raised PSA test may be physical examinations, MRIs or biopsies, depending on the levels found.

To book your test, visit https://mkpcs.mypsatests.org.uk or scan the QR code from the poster.
